Attractions - Beach Lovers
South Beach, Miami
Seekers of the urban beach scene looking to catch waves among the barely clad beautiful
people and hang at hot spots sipping cocktails just because. Stroll the sand of the
beaches, and you might be surprised to find that not everyone has the well-toned,
sun-soaked bods attired in barely-there bikinis and low-rise-style trunks epitomized in
those famed Armani Exchange ads. Despite the stereotype, mainstream folks like you and
me are plentiful in this oh-so-cool destination.
Fort Lauderdale Beach
The city is most famous for its beaches and boats, and while the city of Fort Lauderdale
is relatively small in area, the term 'Fort Lauderdale' is often used to refer to the
larger metropolis that has grown up around it. It is the county seat for Broward county,
and is part of the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach metropolitan area, which has
over 5.5 million people.
Hollywood Beach
Is a coastal city in Florida, USA that is located between the cities of Miami and Fort
Lauderdale. With a population of 146,000 people, Hollywood, Florida is a relatively
small city that retains an old laid-back Florida feel to it compared to the larger
cities in the area. Hollywood can be divided into four different areas. The first would
be Hollywood Beach along the Atlantic Ocean, where you will find most of the action. A
short ways inland is Art Deco downtown Hollywood, filled with restaurants, shops, a
park, and California essence housing.
Delray Beach
This area somewhat resembles its swanky neighbor directly to the south, Boca Raton, and
is renowned locally for its ambitious gentrification centered on Atlantic Avenue, the
main drag, better known as simply "The Avenue" with some of the best nightlife in South
Florida. At the end of The Avenue is a large, free public beach. The funky and arty
downtown beach area has terrific restaurants and shopping.
South Beach
Lincoln Road
Just a few blocks from the beach and world-famous Ocean Drive is Lincoln Road Mall —
South Florida’s premier outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment destination. This
mile long, pedestrian-only promenade boasts a happening street scene with throngs of
local and out-of-town visitors, excellent shopping, and terrific dining options. Located
between West Avenue and Washington Avenue, Lincoln Road Mall offers unique shopping,
sidewalk cafes, bars, galleries, and fine dining.
Ocean Drive
It is known for its Art Deco hotels. Among the most popular hotels there's the Colony
Hotel Known as the most photographed art deco hotels, which is a 1939 boutique-inspired
hotel and has made numerous cameo appearances in scores of movies, TV shows including
Dexter. Ocean Drive is the location of the famed Casa Casuarina, the residence of
Italian fashion designer Gianni Versace (now a boutique hotel), one of the most
photographed houses in North America. Another popular art deco hotel is Clevelander
hotel, aside from its hotel services, it consists of an indoor sports lounge as well a
dance floor and pool area on the ground floor and a complimentary roof-top lounge.

Española Way –South Beach
Is a small and charming area within South Beach with Spanish colonial architecture and
overhanging café lights, on a pedestrian friendly European style street. Only about two
blocks long. It is a must stop to shop, eat, dine, drink and people watch amongst an
international crowd of tourists and locals
Las Olas Boulevard - Fort Lauderdale
Is a popular thoroughfare in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States that runs from
Andrews Avenue in the Central Business District to A1A and Fort Lauderdale Beach. The
easternmost section of the boulevard is interlaced with canals and waterfront homes. The
commercial stretch, approximately 1-mile (1.6 km) in length, features cool sub-tropical
breezeways and courtyards alive with bars, nightclubs, bridal stores, shops, boutiques,
art galleries, restaurants and the Riverside Hotel—this is referred to as the
"Riverfront" area of downtown Fort Lauderdale. The name "Las Olas" means "The Waves" in
Spanish. All but the westernmost fourteen blocks are also signed as State Road 842.Las
Olas has its own historic house, a museum of art, a nearby IMAX cinema and an art house
movie theater within a short walk. Las Olas Boulevard can be accessed by the Fort
Lauderdale water taxi. The boulevard is a popular attraction for locals and visitors,
being ideally situated close to Fort Lauderdale beach, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood
International Airport and Port Everglades. It is known as a dining and shopping
destination.

Boardwalk Hollywood Beach
Boardwalk Hollywood Beach features a one-of-a-kind oceanfront promenade called the
Hollywood Beach Boardwalk that stretches nearly two and a half miles along the Atlantic.
Named one of America's Best Beach Boardwalks by Travel + Leisure magazine, this
brick-paved thoroughfare is a haven for joggers, bicyclists, roller-bladers and all
who'd prefer to take in the action from the comfort of one of the countless eateries and
cafés along the way. The easy ocean access and village-like feel make this a can't miss
destination with numerous highly-rated restaurants, small inns and hotels right on the
Boardwalk adding to its yesteryear charm. Family dining becomes stress-free, as Moms and
Dads kick back to enjoy a seaside meal while their little ones entertain themselves in
the sand just steps away
Everglades National Parks
Everglades National Park protects an unparalleled landscape that provides important
habitat for numerous rare and endangered species like the manatee, American crocodile,
and the elusive Florida panther. An international treasure as well - a World Heritage
Site, International Biosphere Reserve, a Wetland of International Importance, and a
specially protected areas under the Cartagena Treaty. Boat and tram tours with guides.
In addition to ranger-led activities, there are other ways to enjoy a guided tour
through the park. Concession boat captains narrate boat tours along the mangrove coast
at both Flamingo and the Gulf Coast, and Tram Tour naturalists guide your explorations
of the Shark River Slough.
American Airlines Arena
The American Airlines Arena is a sports and entertainment arena located in Downtown
Miami, Florida along Biscayne Bay. Home of the Miami Heat NBA team. The American
Airlines Arena has 2,105 club seats, 80 luxury suites, and 76 private boxes. The
Waterfront Theater is Florida's largest theater which is housed within the arena, that
can seat between 3,000 and 5,800. The theater can be configured for concerts, family
events, musical theatre and other stage shows. American Airlines maintains the American

Viscaya Miami Museum
Villa Vizcaya, now named the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, is the former villa and estate
of businessman James Deering, of the Deering McCormick-International Harvester fortune,
on Biscayne Bay in the present day Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The
early 20th century Vizcaya estate also includes: extensive Italian Renaissance gardens;
native woodland landscape; and a historic village outbuildings compound. The landscape
and architecture were influenced by Veneto and Tuscan Italian Renaissance models and
designed in the Mediterranean Revival architecture style, with Baroque elements.

Aventura Mall
The Aventura Mall is an upscale super-regional shopping mall in Aventura, Florida, a
northern suburb of Miami. It is the largest conventional shopping mall in Florida,
having a gross leasable area of 2,700,000 square feet (250,000 m2), and is the largest
shopping center in the United States. The mall has three floors of retail space,
comprising more than 300 retailers. In addition, there is a food court with eighteen
